Teaching Young People how to Invest their Time, Talent and Treasure

While we continue develop the Student Philanthropy Program, we hope to expand Magnified Giving's offerings to include other programs that help students learn how to freely give of their time, talent and treasure.

Service Internship Program

To help students learn how to give of their time,  supporting service internships with non-profit organizations is an idea we will be exploring. The idea is basic – provide a small stipend for a student to work at a non-profit agency for an extended period of time (6 – 8 weeks) during the summer.  A group of service interns connects each week for discussion, reflection and community-building.

Xavier University has had a very successful summer service internship program for the past 20 years.  This model works well with high school students as well.  Click HERE for more information about XU's program.
