Blue Alliance IT Service Program – Go Blue Event

Go Blue! Events are regional, company-wide service events that are open to
all employees, family members, and community members.  Please join us!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our first annual bed build with Sleep In Heavenly Peace.  About 70 volunteers worked together to close to 40 beds for children desperately needing of a good place to get a good night’s sleep.  Volunteers helped with sawing, drilling, sanding, assembling, staining, etc.  Special Thanks to Sophia Recker for her leadership, Mike Watkins and his team at Sleep In Heavenly Peace, Shannon at Graeter’s Ice Cream, Doug at Chick Fil A, and everyone who attended.

We will soon invite volunteers to help us deliver and assemble the beds so some of the over 100 children on the wait list can have a good, comfortable and safe place to sleep.

We strongly suggest you and your family watch this Returning The Favor episode (about 20 mins) about Luke Michelson, the Idaho dad who started SHP.  The Butler County SHP is one of the early chapters to form.  In the past 4 years, the Butler County Chapter has built and delivered over 2400 beds to kids in the Middletown area.

Contact Todd Forman (todd.forman@pathforward.us) or Sophia Recker (reckers24@mndhs.org) if you have any questions.
