Blue Alliance IT Service Program – Go Blue LYP Events

Go Blue! Events are regional, company-wide service events that are open to
all employees, family members and families.  Please join us!

Join your fellow LYP team members, their families and friends as we work together with Blue Alliance IT and Sleep In Heavenly Peace to construct 40 beds for children desperately needing of a good place to get a good night’s sleep.  Volunteers will help with sawing, drilling, sanding, assembling, etc.  There will be games and activities for the younger kids, and food and drinks for everyone.  Kids 12+ are permitted to use power tools – orbital sanders, drills, and screw guns – and younger kids can help move wood and other activities.  It will be a great family event – food for everyone and fun activities for little children.

At a later date, we will invite volunteers to help us deliver and assemble the beds so the over 100 children on the wait list can have a good, comfortable and safe place to sleep.

I strongly suggest you and your family watch this Returning The Favor episode (about 20 mins) about Luke Michelson, the Idaho dad who started SHP.  The Butler County SHP is one of the early chapters to form.  In the past 4 years, they have built and delivered over 2400 beds to kids in the Butler County area.
